More About Vicky Vee

Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, now living
and working in and through out Japan, Hawaii
and the DC Area.

Vicky was The 1st. Miss Black Teenage America
Winner Of Cincinnati, Ohio. and Ms. Dream Girl.
Awarded the key to the City of Cincinnati;
The Ms. Positivity Award; and as early as Jr. school,

Vickie was awarded a trophy for Musician of the year!
at the mere age of 12 yrs. old
("Thank you Mr. Pate")
All of which helped to start her career in music!.

"Terry Brown and LA Reid were two men who were also my inspiration".

Vicky has released several Recordings, (2) of which
were Major CD releases in Japan.
1. AvexTrax, VocaLand 2 - "We all need Love" ,
2. And Her Solo Debut CD was released on BMG
FunHouse records. "Y2k/Save The World"

Other CD's were also released on Sony, Polydor and
Mercury Record labels

However her 1st. Release was back home on
Fraternity Records:
Larry and Vickie "How I Wish You Were Here"
Featuring La Reid on Drums and Kayo (from the
Deele on Bass) Produced by Kent Washburn.
She's been on numerous TV Shows/Radio as well On
and Off Broadway!
Vicky's on stage acting debut started at Cincinnati
PlayHouse In The Park, thanks to Worth Gardner)
(Little Shop Of Horrors, She stoops to Conquer)
"I will cherish those memories forever, because those
days(and the people I worked with back home),helped
me grow into the Woman I am today!"

Currently, she is still singing....working in Japan, and
plans to record another album soon!
She also has been blessed with teaching others how to
do what She does, and in doing so it allows her to
spread God's Love even more.
"Japan has given so much to me, and I am very
fortunate to have the opportunity to take a break, and
return some of the love.
I never dreamed of teaching, but I guess God had a plan
for me, which had to include staying, living and working

in Japan for as long as I've been here. "

Vicky Vee has been on numerous TV shows....Was a
Radio DJ and Personality for FM NorthWave as well FM Apple.
And partially because of the Media coverage
(TV, Magazines, Newspapers etc.) she was blessed
with, it helped her establish a bigger following over in Japan.
"I was Blessed, and I Thank God Almighty for it all"
While in the states Ms. Vee had the pleasure of
working with several major artist such as: La Reid,
Baby Face, Bootsy Collins, MicoWave, The Deel,
Trouble Funk, Malcolm Mc Lauren, Jeff Beck, Stevie
Wonder, BB King, George Clinton, General Crook, and many more.
She had a wonderful manager guiding her career:
Mr. William Waller Jr. , Better known as: Mr. $ Bill Waller

Whom she will be "forever grateful"

During Vicky's earlier stay in Japan , she met another
wonderful manager:
Mr. T. KOGUCHI who was a prominent figure in
guiding her career in Japan.
"He did more for me over here in Japan, than I could imagine possible."
Another very fascinating man whom Vicky had the
pleasure of meeting and working with on several
occasions, was Mr. Jeffery Daniels (Shalamar)
Also in Japan a list of very talented Famous Japanese
Artist/Musicians:She's had the pleasure of working
with: Toshiki Kadomatsu: Singer, songwriter, producer.
Joe Yamanaka, Malta, Ryuta Sakamato, Minoru Ozone,Takehiro Honda,

the hilarious "99 "and
many more...............

Remember:"Anything is Possible in life!"
If you Believe, you will receive. And also remember: If
you are Prepared, you may Meet Opportunity.
(some call that Luck)
But luck only happens when opportunity meets preparation!
And when you have a higher power guiding you to do
what's right, and you follow God's will, a whole new
world opens up that's full of love peace and happiness!

lives, and always Give and share Love from the heart!"

Vicky Vee (McWhorter)
Vicky's 1st. TV drama appearance was on
WCPO'sJuvenile Court as "Marcy".
(5 consecutive appearances)
She also did a guest appearance on WLWT
"Bob Braun 50 50 Club"
singing her hit single
"How I Wish You Were Here"
Which topped the WCIN charts for weeks and Hit #2
on their top 20 chart!
Occasionally, the song is still played to this very day.
She was the 1st. (The 1st ) winner of the Miss Black
teenage America pageant of Cincinnati, Ohio
Where she received the crowning along with a kiss
from the original "Shaft" (Richard Roundtree), and
was presented the "Key To the City" award Of
Cincinnati from Mayor Theodore Berry.
She went on to win Miss Dream Girl; Miss Positivity,
and was voted most likely to succeed ; and Vicky was
the winner of a Diana Ross look alike contest held by
The Cincinnati Enquire.
Vicky also was honored a seat to play (clarinet) with
the Cincinnati symphony orchestra at the legendary Music Hall.
She has done numerous TV / Radio/ Industrial
commercials for P&G (Proctor & Gamble)
Her longest running national TV commercial was for
Keebler Cookies, Block Buster Videos, and Always panty liners.
